In case you’re still looking at that LG Optimus Me P350 smartphone, you’ll have to shift your focus to this. Apparently, LG is joining Sony Ericsson and Samsung with their own press conference invitation scheduled for February 14th.
Inviting the unexpected?
What’s more interesting is that the invite that fonearena got starts with “Into The New Dimension” and then goes on saying “Experience the new world that LG is opening.” On the top right you can clearly see LG Optimus written and the phone that is being displayed looks a lot like LG Optimus 2X.
Although this cannot be considered as enough evidence for a 3D phone, you cannot rule it out completely, given the fact that their slate also showed off 3D content support. If such a phone does come out, the Mobile World Congress this year will be one helluva time for cell phone lovers.
